DrillDay Privacy Policy

Test version · Effective October 23, 2026

DrillDay™ is an app by Northline Studio LLC for daily practice in school and sport. It's being tested now and isn't available to the public yet. This policy covers the test version, which is available only to people we invite. Before DrillDay is released to the public, we'll replace this policy with the full DrillDay privacy policy at this same address.

What the test version collects

The test version keeps everything on the phone or tablet where it's used. That includes each child's nickname, grade and sports, their activity log (points, quiz scores, reading and workouts), rewards and the app's settings.

The test version doesn't create online accounts, and it doesn't send that information to us or to anyone else. It has no ads, analytics or tracking tools, and it doesn't collect location, contacts, photos or advertising IDs. Deleting the app from the device deletes its information.

Parent lock

The parent area can be locked with a PIN, Face ID or a fingerprint. The PIN is stored on the device in a protected (hashed) form. Face ID and fingerprint checks are handled entirely by the phone and never reach the app or us.

Google Play and Apple

Testers download DrillDay through Google Play or Apple's TestFlight, which handle the download under their own privacy policies. If a tester's device is set to share diagnostic data, Google or Apple may give us basic crash and performance reports for the app. Those reports don't include the information entered in DrillDay.

Children

DrillDay is made for children in grades 4 to 12 and their parents. In the test version, a parent sets up each child's profile on the device, and none of the children's information leaves that device.

Changes to this policy

The full DrillDay privacy policy will replace this one before the public release, and it will describe any new features, such as family accounts and syncing between devices. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
